Online Gift Card Sales are WAY up
We’re seeing a huge increase in online revenue from gift card sales over the past 7 days vs last year. From Dec 15-21 sales revenue for gift cards were up 66.65% and on Tuesday Dec 20 of this week gift card sales spiked 113.14% vs the same day in 2021.
It looks like the deadline for holiday shopping snuck up on everyone and the massive storms that are about to hit many parts of the US, have people urgently scrambling to complete their holiday shopping.
