Help Those Last Minute Shoppers
Here are a few ideas to assist your customers with their last minute holiday shopping.

Gift cards and online gift codes were the #1 online purchases last year and it looks like they will be a top seller online this year as well. If you offer these items on your IndieCommerce website, be sure your customers are made aware of them through email and social media marketing. Shoppers are strapped for time. Offer online payment options and in-store pickup or curbside pick-up. This is an incredibly popular online shopping feature for customers. If ‘In-Store Pickup’ is enabled on your site, customers can opt to pick up their order at your store instead of having it shipped. Display your store hours on your website. Many bookstores offer extended hours during the holidays. If your bookstore’s business hours have changed, be sure to publish them on your website’s home page as well as all email and social media marketing that you are distributing.
Stores Can Now Import Tracking Numbers From ShipStation
This page includes instructions for shipping solutions from ShipStation, Endicia, PirateShip, ShipEasy and Stamps.com. Using any one of our shipping integrations, stores can easily export their orders from their IndieCommerce or IndieLite site to create shipping labels. This integration will export your orders in a CSV file which you can then upload into your chosen shipping software.
Currently only Stamps.com and ShipStation provide the option to import tracking information back to your IndieCommerce site.
