Kenny Brechner of Devaney, Doak, & Garrett Booksellers in Farmington, Maine, has resigned from the ABA Board.

Kenny was an important voice on the ABA board and we are grateful for his many contributions. We thank him for his board service. The ABA Board will be appointing an interim director to serve the remainder of his term until the election in May 2022.

Print Bookstore and Third Place Books welcome submissions to the #bookstoresmakeitfashion competition. Here’s what to do: create an outfit made from materials found around your store. That means anything from bubble wrap to bookmarks can be used for the final product.

Post your pictures on social with the hashtag #bookstoresmakeitfashion or email them to Rosa Hernandez and Rachael Conrad.

Submissions close on November 15.
