UPDATED LIST - New Features For IndieCommerce - UPDATED LIST
This is an updated list of recently released features and services for your IndieCommerce or IndieLite website. Some of these were previously mentioned in the Sept 25th newsletter, but many new features have been added as well. Please take a few minutes to review. Many of these would be excellent additions to your website for the upcoming holiday shopping season. If you have questions about any of these, please email [email protected]
- Gift Receipts - Customers can request a gift receipt to be included with their order, with a (optional) gift message. Customers will also have the option to hide their address in the gift receipt. Stores can request this feature from the Store Features page : Store > Configuration > Account Information and Preferences > Store Features
- Endicia and ShipStation - If your store uses one of these shipping solutions for printing shipping labels, this new feature will make that process easier. You can generate a CSV file of order details to generate the shipping labels in bulk. Similar integrations are already available for Stamps.com, ShipEasy and PirateShip. Stores can request this feature from the Store Features page : Store > Configuration > Account Information and Preferences > Store Features
- Store Catalog - Latest updates...Stores can now use the catalog for non-book items. And, the option to restrict books in stock at the store in the catalog is now available. Books will be removed from the catalog display when they are out of stock and reappear when they are back in stock. Please review the updated help documentation.
- Paypal - We have upgraded the Paypal integration . With this upgrade, processing Paypal orders will be a lot easier. Paypal orders can be processed like credit card orders, no need to login to Paypal to charge an authorization or issue a refund.
Whether you already offer Paypal as a payment option on your website, or would like to do so, you can request the new Upgraded Paypal Payment Method from the Store Features page : Store > Configuration > Account Information and Preferences > Store Features
- IBIDie / WordStock Gift Cards - We have completed the integration for IBIDie & WordStock Gift Cards. IBIDie or WordStock gift cards can now be used as a payment option on your IndieCommerce site. Customers can also purchase digital gift cards on your website. If you are interested, please submit a request from the Store Features page : Store > Configuration > Account Information and Preferences > Store Features
New Features For IndieLite
We are expecting another very busy fourth quarter online. To help your store manage the increase in order volume and improve the online shopping experience for your customers, the IndieCommerce dev team has some new tools and features you might want to consider for your website.

- IndieLite 2021 - An improved version of the current IndieLite theme is now available. Interested stores should contact [email protected], and mention ‘IndieLite 2021 Theme’ in the subject. Highlights of this new theme are
- New color schemes with better contrast and fonts for ADA compliance
- Redesigned header region
- All regions and checkout panes stand out better
