Their advice: print out a manifest and witness the postal worker scanning packages in before the packages leave your store or before you leave the post office if you drop them off. Instead, booksellers are invited to partake in an open conversation about what marketing ideas worked and didn't work this year, marketing plans for the upcoming year, marketing meetup topics that stores benefited from over the past year, and what booksellers might like to see covered during meetups in 2021. A meeting space for BIPOC — Black, Indigenous, or People of Color — booksellers and bookstore owners to gather for connection, support, community, resources, and networking. This will be a non-hosted opportunity; there will not be a facilitator and ABA staff will not be in attendance.
