Starting November 13, NPR Books will publish four bestseller lists weekly, using the Indie Bestseller List feeds. The categories to appear on the site are the Hardcover Fiction, Hardcover Nonfiction, Paperback Fiction and Paperback Nonfiction lists.

In a strategic move that will increase its 2009 catalog circulation by 75 percent, the Association of Booksellers for Children is distributing a quantity of its 2009 Best Books for Children catalog to all of the ABA member stores receiving the Winter Children's White Box mailing this month. This is in addition to the 260 ABC members that already receive the catalog.

The American Booksellers Association recently received registered trademark protection for the IndieBound logo. Accordingly, the association has added the registered trademark symbol -- ® -- to the IndieBound and IndieBound.org logos in the Bookseller DIY. Over the course of the next several weeks, ABA will be updating all of the many IndieBound graphics in the Bookseller DIY to reflect this new status.
