For members to gather for connection, support, community, resources, networking, etc. ABA is not present during these sessions and the discussion topics are completely up to those in attendance.

A closed space for BIPOC — Black, Indigenous, or People of Color — booksellers & BIPOC bookstore owners only.

A closed space for LGBTQIA2S+ booksellers and LGBTQIA2S+ bookstore owners only.

A closed space for Disabled-identifying booksellers and bookstore owners and those exploring their relationship to Disability identity. Booksellers who are thinking of attending but aren't quite sure, don’t self-reject! The term Disability applies to any condition of the body or mind to any degree.

A closed space for Neurodivergent-identifying booksellers and bookstore owners and those exploring their relationship to Neurodiversity. Booksellers who are thinking of attending but aren't quite sure, don’t self-reject! The term Neurodiverse applies to all neurodivergent neurotypes.
While allies are greatly appreciated, those who do not identify personally as a member of the BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, Disability, and/or Neurodivergent community should not plan to attend that group’s coinciding meetup.
All sessions are an opportunity to socialize and learn from fellow booksellers and experts on a range of topics relevant to bookselling today.
Held the first Tuesday of every month at 3 pm ET and the last Tuesday of the month at 10 pm ET.
Open conversation format to share best practices, talk about business, and crowdsource ideas & solutions to problems. Other ShopTalks are held throughout the year for smaller subsets of groups see the calendar for details.

A series of virtual meetings focused on the importance of marketing as a tool to increase retention, boost revenue, meet demand, and promote your overall business.
Monthly, Second Thursday, 1 pm ET
A series of virtual meetings that focus on delivering best practices & tips for incorporating tech-related tools into your business.
