The ABC Children’s Group and the Children’s Book Council (CBC) are partnering to produce the Silent Art Auction and the Children’s and Teen Choice Book Awards Announcement in a joint program. The event will benefit American Booksellers for Free Expression (ABFE) and Every Child a Reader. Children's book creators Sean Qualls and Selina Alko will serve as honorary chairs of the event and will announce the winners of the Children’s and Teen Choice Book Awards, the only national book awards program where the winning titles are selected by young readers. This year’s Silent Art Auction program will honor author and illustrator Ashley F. Bryan.
