Nominations Sought for 2017 PW Bookstore, Sales Rep of the Year Awards

Finalists to be named at Winter Institute

Publishers Weekly has opened the call for nominations for the 2017 PW Bookstore of the Year and PW Sales Rep of the Year awards, to be presented during ABA's annual Celebration of Bookselling lunch at next spring’s BookExpo in New York City. Anyone with ties to the book industry, including authors, booksellers, publishers, and distributors, is invited to submit nominations to Judith Rosen at [email protected] by January 16, 2017; nominations or letters of recommendation received after that date will not be accepted.

Candidates for PW Bookstore of the Year must be a bricks-and-mortar bookstore in the U.S. that has been in operation for at least four years. Submissions should note what makes the bookstore special and should include the name, industry affiliation, and contact information of the person submitting the nomination.

Candidates for PW Sales Rep of the Year may be telephone, house, or independent sales representatives. Submissions should include a story or example of the rep’s commitment to excellence, as well as the nominator’s contact information, including their name and industry affiliation.

Letters of nomination will be read by the judges to determine the winners in each category.

Self-nominations and nominations from family members will not be accepted. Bookstores and sales reps can only win the award once.
