November 9 Webinar: Preparing Your Website for the Holidays

Whether it’s making sure store contact information is up to date or knowing how to process orders correctly, booksellers need to be certain their store’s website and staff are ready to go. November 16 Online Marketing Roundtable

People holding the letters for IDEAThe IndieCommerce team’s recent 30-minute, live marketing roundtables with booksellers have covered a range of topics, including e-mail, social media, blogging, advertising, and online marketing strategy.

Booksellers are invited to bring their questions to the next online video chat, which will take place on Thursday, November 16, at 11:00 a.m. EST.

This online video meeting will be held through Zoom.us, so a smartphone with the Zoom application or a computer with Internet access and a video camera are required. Online “seating” is limited, so interested booksellers should e-mail IndieCommerce Director Phil Davies to request the login information; if the roundtable is full, booksellers will be offered a future session.

January 22 IndieCommerce Institute: Insights Straight From the Source

Teacher and studentAt the upcoming Winter Institute 13, booksellers will have the opportunity to acquire powerful insights into the world of IndieCommerce directly from the folks who build, maintain, and develop new features for the platform.

The IndieCommerce Institute, which is offered just once a year, will take place on January 22, 2018, in Memphis, Tennessee. Booksellers can sign up for a morning seminar, an afternoon seminar, or both. Full details about the topics to be covered are available on BookWeb.

Winter Institute registration is not required to attend the IndieCommerce Institute.
