Let’s Talk Online Marketing

Tech workers at desksThe IndieCommerce team is seeking six to eight booksellers who are active in marketing their stores online and who want to share their successes and failures with other independent booksellers once or twice a month in a virtual roundtable format. These roundtable discussions will be tested via a video conferencing service, so booksellers will need an Internet connection, a computer with a video camera and a microphone, and headphones/earphones. Interested booksellers can e-mail IndieCommerce Director Phil Davies to discuss the format and topics and to set up a date and time to meet.

Tip of the Week

Cartoon man with "Tips" signWhen creating views for an IndieCommerce store, be sure to set the correct permission for each view created to ensure that customers are not excluded from seeing relevant content, or, conversely, that sensitive information is not revealed. For more information on views, visit the IndieCommerce Help Center or e-mail [email protected].

Booksellers are encouraged to send their thoughts, questions, or suggestions via e-mail to IndieCommerce staff at any time.
