Booksellers to Moderate BookExpo Editors’ Buzz Panels

BookExpo’s popular adult, young adult, and middle grade Editors’ Buzz panels, featuring book editors discussing their favorite upcoming titles, will each be moderated this year by a bookseller from an American Booksellers Association member store.

The Adult Editors’ Buzz Panel, to be held on Wednesday, May 31, from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room 1E12/13/14 of the Javits Convention Center, will be moderated by Annie Philbrick of Bank Square Books in Mystic, Connecticut, and Savoy Bookshop in Westerly, Rhode Island.

The adult panel’s featured titles include:

  • Unraveling Oliver by Liz Nugent (Publisher: Scout Press; Publication Date: August 22, 2017)
  • Stay With Me by Ayobami Adebayo (Publisher: Alfred A. Knopf; Publication Date: August 22, 2017)
  • My Absolute Darling by Gabriel Tallent (Publisher: Riverhead Books; Publication Date: August 29, 2017)
  • The World of Tomorrow by Brendan Mathews (Publisher: Little, Brown and Company; Publication Date: September 5, 2017)
  • The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin (Publisher: Putnam; Publication Date: January 9, 2018)
  • The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn (Publisher: William Morrow; Publication Date: January 23, 2018)

The Young Adult Editors’ Buzz Panel, on Thursday, June 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. in Room 1E12/13/14, will be moderated by Heather Hebert of Children’s Book World in Haverford, Pennsylvania.

The YA panel’s featured titles include:

  • Spinning by Tillie Walden (Publisher: First Second Books; Publication Date: September 12, 2017)
  • Beasts Made of Night by Tochi Onyebuchi (Publisher: Razorbill; Publication Date: September 12, 2017)

The Middle Grade Editors’ Buzz Panel, to be held on Friday, June 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. in Room 1E12/13/14, will be moderated by Anne Holman of The King’s English Bookshop in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The middle grade panel’s featured titles include:
