The Delivering for America Act appropriated $25 billion to the USPS and would reverse operational changes made after January 1, 2020, that have slowed down mail delivery.

Scheduled to testify at the hearing are the CEOs of Amazon (Jeff Bezos), Apple (Tim Cook), Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg), and Google (Sundar Pichai). This will mark Bezos’ first appearance before Congress.

After initially saying it would not send Bezos but rather “the appropriate executive” to testify, Amazon reversed course and said it was willing to make Bezos available.

For the extension to go into effect, the U.S. House of Representatives would need to pass the legislation and send it to President Trump for his signature. 

The goal of the Lender Match tool is to connect small businesses that have yet to apply for or receive a PPP loan with eligible PPP lenders that cater to underserved and disadvantaged communities.
